Monica Bellucci was in Tokyo a few years ago to promote her movie HEART TANGO,
I was assigned to take her photographs for VOCE magazine!
I was expecting Monica to be like a typical italian...very loud and outgoing,
but she is a very quiet, sweet and very beautiful woman!

I shot top model Claudia Schiffer in a Hotel in Tokyo sometime ago,
she came with her mother to the shooting,
I wanted to take 5 different pictures but we ran out of time when I was shooting the 4th one,
(she had an TV interviem scheduled)
to everyones surprise she asked me to shoot the last one quickly and it turned out to be the best shot!

there is definitly a “Brigitte Bardot” thing about her!!

In one of their visit to Japan I assigned to shoot an interview page with Jamiroquai!
what a bunch of great guys,...we had a very good time in the studio!
and the show was just too much,...everybody dancing!!

I had the opportunity to shoot Jennifer Lopez on her last visit to Tokyo,
good chance to practise my spanish!!
the photo was to promote her new album and it came out in many magazines and newspapers in Japan.




she looks good, she dances good, she sings good, she acts good....wonder what else “good” she can do? ;)

I shot Fergie for a interview page on a japanese magazine,
the shooting started at 5PM and the Black Eyed Peas show at Budokan started at 7PM!!
we had to do it veeeeery fast!!
then we all went literally “flying” together to the concert!!





aaaand she is SEXY!!!!

a few years ago I went to Los Angeles to shoot a few Hip Hop essay,
shooting Ice Cube was definitly the best part of the trip
(we were all concerned whether he was a nice guy or not)
and Ice turned out to be a “very easy to working with” kind of guy!
he gave us t-shirts...posters...cd’s...very nice guy for sure!!!

I remember very well the first time I listened to a Lenny Kravitz song, it was Mr. Cab Driver...what a great tune and immediatly I fell in love,
I never thought that a few years later I would find myself in New York city shooting Lenny to promote his Japan Tour!

shooting Beastie Boys was nothing but fun,
their music was pumping loud in the studio,
everybody in such a good mood, making funny faces,
dancing to the beat!
definitly a bunch of funny and really outgoing guys!!
it’s very easy to work with them,
all you need is good music and a couple of wide angle lenses!



SABOTAGE is definitly one of my favorite Beasty videos!

not long ago I shot this essay for PLAYER magazine,...I wanted to give it a very HOT SUMMER LOOK!!
and yes,...it looks very HOT indeed!!

ZERO ONE is a bag brand and these photos will be in their next catalogue

SUIREN spring-summer catalogue was devided in 2 diferent parts,
in the first one we tried to explore the lightness of the clothes,...so we had the models jumping and dancing and the fans blowing strong wind to give a sense of moviment on the pictures!!

the second part of the shooting was related to Hollywood in the 40’s,...kind of “drag-king” look where the models were pretending to be men!

this is an editorial I shot for SAFARI magazine,...the shooting was easy,...but the computer work involved took 3 days!!!

not long ago I shot a cover/editorial for Popeye magazine,
the models were twins!!
they looked so much alike I couldn’t really tell the difference between them both!

the photos were taken during a cold winter day at Ritz Hotel in Tokyo!

this is an photo essay I did for PLAYER magazine sometime ago,
the theme as you can see was TATOO YOU!

I shot japanese rock star HOTEI for the magazine FQ Japan,
it was a really cool session tempered with some really hot blues I had in my iPod!

the theme for Miss Universe Japan 2008 was FASHION ISLAND,
we shot the girls wearing summer clothes in the worst winter I have ever seen in Japan,
it was not cold,...it was VERY cold!!!
and I felt a bit sorry for the girls,...
but we managed to get the “summer look” we needed!
